The dedicated team of instructors at Wing & Barrel Ranch are trained to the highest standards and are amongst the most experienced shooting instructors in California. Wing & Barrel Ranch is committed to the safety of its members and offers regularly scheduled hunter safety education classes taught by California Department of Fish and Wildlife certified instructors.
We are passionate about making shooting accessible to all, and encourage members and their families to safely learn to shoot. Our instructors may be scheduled for private instruction or in groups allowing children to meet new people and learn the sport.

Kade Wurster

When Bill is not competing he is traveling throughout the US and abroad teaching at shooting schools and clinics and offering private instruction. Bill enjoys teaching all levels of shooters and is particularly talented and taking a competitive shooter from good to great.

Don is the chief instructor of the National Sporting Clays Association and one of the most sought-after shooting coaches and gun fitters in shotgun sports. Don teaches across the country and regularly propels shotgun enthusiasts of all ages and experience levels to breakthrough performance whether in the field or in competition.
Jausiah Jacobsen
Jausiah is an avid fly fisherman who has had a fly rod in his hands since he was a kid. Growing up in Idaho, he fished many of the waters targeting trout from Boise to Sandpoint. Now, in California you can find him fishing both sides of the Sierras, Putah Creek, or in the Trinity Alps Wilderness. He returns to Idaho annually for a backcountry fly fishing trip each year where he is dropped in by bush plane in the wilderness. Jausiah received a guide certification after completing Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters’ guide school. Jausiah loves teaching anyone willing to pick up a fly rod, whether its fishing or casting
Lynn Green
Lynne is a Level 1 National Sporting Clays Association Instructor and enjoys getting new shooters to develop a comfort level with their gun and hitting more targets on the sporting clays course and in the field. Lynne joined the FAUSTI USA team in February 2020 as their National Sales Manager for the US and has been traveling the country visiting dealers and hosting demo events.
Zach and Desi Kienbaum
Zachary Kienbaum is a 26-time NSCA All-American and 19-time Team USA Member that has been shooting competitively since he was 12 years old. Zach has won countless trophies and accolades, including the honor of being the first inductee for the California State Hall of Fame.
Desirae Edmunds is a 2-time NSCA National Ladies Champion and 6-time NSCA Championship Tour Ladies Champion that has been a part of Team Beretta for the past 5 years.
Chad Roberts
Chad Roberts is a Master Class Sporting Clay shooter. Using his competitive knowledge from his past Championship Titles in the Sport Of BMX, he brought his drive to this new and exciting sport. With assistance from 2008 National Sporting Clay Champion and top coach, Anthony Matarese Jr. (A.I.M. Shooting School) as his mentor, he worked his way through the ranks from a novice shooter to the Masters class.

Gun Fitting + Instruction
Members have access to some of the top gun fitters and instructors in the world. A professional gun fitting by an experienced fitter evaluates your point-of-impact and optimizes your mount and swing the gun with confidence and accuracy. Combined with regular instruction, we’ll have you hitting targets in the field and on the clays course in no time!
